Azerbaijani Association of Latin America officially registered on December 11, 2008 in Mexico City. This association has, as one of its main objectives, the purpose of nourishing the friendship ties that exist between Azerbaijan and the nations of Latin America.

The organization´s President is Mr. Natiq Atakishiyev, and the Deputy President is Mr. Spartak Babayev. They both are Azerbaijani nationals who have been living in Mexico for more than ten years.

Through cultural events, whether they might be concerts, art expositions, dance or paint festivals, this organization has the aim to promote the culture of Azerbaijan in the region, as well as to strengthen the ties of brotherhood that currently exist between the people of Azerbaijan and the people of Latin America.
